Due to the weather, and my lack of desire to hike through snow and ice on relatively steep slopes, I will not be hiking this weekend.
I did however do some work on my scooter helmet last night. Since I want to make sure drivers see me (read, don’t pull out in front of me or in general run me off the road), I thought my helmet needed some reflective tape on it. Instead of just slapping some of it on the helmet, I purchased a kit from Applied Graphics. The decals came on two sheets of paper, good instructions on how to apply the decals themselves, but left the design up to you. I had some fun and I think the results turned out well. See below. If you read my original post on my new scooter, you know that I plan on using it a lot to get to my hiking start points, so there is some relevancy here, trust me!
I will keep an eye on the weather, but considering it is near winter, I doubt that I will be doing any serious summitting until Spring comes along….but boy do I have some fun and exciting hiking plans for this coming summer!

I am happy to finally report that I had a true hike a few Saturdays ago. It was a 2 hour jaunt, with steep terrain and vistas galore. I felt much accomplished until about the dinner hour, when my hips joined forces in a revolt that included my legs and feet! haha…can’t wait to do it again!
That is awesome! Sounds like you had a great time!
